Our Most Advanced Air System
The ExtrusionAir is a stand alone air system, with all the great features of our standard LumenAir, with an added Flow rate mode. The Flow rate mode allows users to maintain a constant air volume into the tubing even if the air passages in the extrusion die become partially blocked. Like the LumenAir, the ExtrusionAir does not need an air compressor to function . This system automatically produces air pressure within 0.01" H2O of your set point, resulting in consistently accurate lumens and virtually no scrap or downtime. Unlike other air systems, fluctuations in atmospheric pressure (caused by storms or HVAC systems) do not affect the accuracy of ExtrusionAir! Internal, low-pressure air pumps provide filtered clean-room air without the condensation, bacteria, and pressure variations found in air compressor systems.View the LumenAir/ExtrusionAir PDF information sheet. "Plug & Play" Installation.
Simply connect 1/4" tubes from the extrusion die, and plug the system into a standard AC outlet. The small dimension sizes enable the ExtrusionAir system to be mounted to the extruder.
